Cyagen (Suzhou) Biosciences Co., Ltd., together with its affiliates and partner institutions (for the purpose of improving the analytical capabilities and scientific research standards of the services, we share data with partner institutions that have professional scientific research qualifications, such as Tsinghua Pearl River Delta Research Institute) (collectively, “we,” “us,” or “our”), provides internet services in mainland China through the iCyagen website (the “Service”). In accordance with applicable national laws and regulations, including the Personal Information Protection Law of the People’s Republic of China and the Cybersecurity Law of the People’s Republic of China, this Privacy Policy explains and sets out our commitments regarding the collection, use, storage, sharing, protection, and management of your personal information and your related rights. Please read this Privacy Policy carefully before using the Service. If you do not agree to any part of this Privacy Policy, please stop using the Service immediately. If you are under the age of 18 when reading this Privacy Policy, please read, agree to, and use the Service under the guidance and with the consent of your guardian. How We Collect and Use Your Personal Information

Data upload and analysis services: When you use the various data analysis functions, genetic information query functions, antibody analysis functions, or similar functions provided by the Service, you may voluntarily upload relevant data as needed, including but not limited to gene sequence data, amino acid sequence data, disease-related information, case and sample information, and other research data generated from experiments. Such data may sometimes contain sensitive information relating to health, genetics, or similar matters. We do not proactively collect your health information. However, for the above data that you voluntarily provide, we will collect and use it only with your explicit consent and authorization, and only for the purposes agreed for the Service, such as providing analysis services, generating results, model training, and product optimization. You must ensure that the information you provide is lawful and true and that you have obtained all necessary authorizations. You are responsible for any legal liabilities arising from such information. Without your consent, we will not use the personal data you provide for other purposes.
Payment and transaction information: If you use paid functions in the Service, we will collect information related to payment transactions, such as order numbers, transaction times, and transaction amounts, in order to process orders and provide customer service. Information involved in the payment process, such as bank card numbers and payment account details, will be processed through third-party payment platforms, such as Alipay, WeChat Pay, or banks. When you use paid services, you agree that we may share the above necessary information with third-party payment service providers to complete payment settlement. We assume certain management responsibilities with respect to third-party payment platforms, and such third-party payment platforms also assume corresponding protection obligations and may process the payment information you provide in accordance with their own privacy policies.
Log information and technical information: To ensure the secure and stable operation of the Service, we may automatically collect certain technical information generated during your use of the Service, such as device IP address, device identifier, operating system information, browser type, access time, and log data. Such information is generally used to record system operation logs, analyze service access, troubleshoot faults, and help improve service quality. Such information is technical information. After aggregation and de-identification, it is used for internal data analysis and will not independently identify you.

We retain your information only for the purposes agreed in this Privacy Policy and for the period permitted by laws and regulations:
Retention period: In order to continuously provide the Service to you or perform relevant contractual obligations, we will retain your personal information. If you do not use the relevant services for a long period and request account cancellation, we will clean up and delete your personal information according to laws, regulations, and business needs, unless the law requires continued retention.
Data backup and deletion: We may make necessary backups of data and delete or anonymize information when it is no longer needed. Rules for Use of AI-Related Business Functions
When the iCyagen products or services we provide to you involve AI-related content, you understand and acknowledge that the generative artificial intelligence services and other related products or services we provide rely on generative artificial intelligence models and may also rely on other models or services. You agree to use the generative artificial intelligence services we provide in accordance with law and based on the scientific and rational understanding we provide.
Specifically, with respect to the generative artificial intelligence services we provide to you, you agree that:
Content generated by iCyagen products or services is for your reference only. You agree not to treat the output as professional advice, a basis for business decisions, or any other unverified purpose, including but not limited to the following:
Where major scenarios or purposes such as production, research and development, or investment are involved, iCyagen recommends that you consult professionals. You acknowledge and agree that you will not use the output of the product or service as the basis for your next action, and that any judgment made based on the output, or any subsequent related operation taken based on such judgment, and the consequences and liabilities arising therefrom, shall be borne by you.
If you use the AI search function module involved in iCyagen products or services, the output of iCyagen products or services will involve searches of publicly available third-party online information. The output may be inaccurate and does not represent iCyagen’s endorsement of or agreement with any position or view expressed by a third party, nor does it constitute any endorsement of the authenticity, accuracy, or legality of publicly available third-party online information.
You agree and confirm that the information you input shall comply with laws and administrative regulations, observe public order, respect social morality and ethics, socialist core values, national interests, and the lawful rights and interests of others, and ensure the authenticity of the information. Otherwise, we have the right to take relevant measures in accordance with law. We temporarily store the original content you input and the processing results only as technically necessary to provide the Service. Unless otherwise stated, such text will not be further shared or used. In addition, the content you input will not be used by iCyagen to train the AI models involved in providing the Service. We do not assume infringement liability for errors in output content caused by algorithmic limitations, but you have the right to use such output content.
For output content generated by your use of AI functions in iCyagen products or services, we will label the output content in accordance with current laws and regulations. Our labeling rules are as follows:
For text content generated through AI-related services provided by iCyagen, in order to prevent confusion and misidentification and to eliminate or reduce the potential impact of inaccurate generated or synthetic information, we will add prominent textual notice labels at the bottom of the AI function interaction interface or in other reasonable locations to remind you that the relevant content is AI-generated and for reference only. You may not maliciously delete, alter, forge, or conceal such generated or synthetic labels, including prominent visible explicit labels on generated or synthetic content and, where applicable, implicit labels embedded in metadata of generated or synthetic content through specific technical means.
In addition, iCyagen may, in accordance with laws and regulations and in light of the specific output forms of iCyagen’s AI-related services, adjust the content, format, and other aspects of AI-generated or synthetic content labels from time to time so that the relevant labels meet the latest applicable labeling requirements for AI-generated or synthetic content.
Terms for Use by Minors
The Service is mainly intended for researchers with full capacity for civil conduct. If you are under the age of 18, you must use the Service under the guidance of your guardian, and your guardian shall be responsible for your conduct.
Minors may not privately register for or use the Service without the consent of their guardians, and guardians are requested to supervise minors in properly protecting the security of their personal information. If we discover an account belonging to a minor, we will terminate the provision of the Service to that account and delete the minor’s personal information in a timely manner in accordance with laws and regulations.
